Set beside the pretty meandering river Exe in the moorland village of Exford, Exford Hostel is in the middle of the Exmoor National Park. This former Victorian hunting lodge, with private en suite rooms as well as dorms, is perfect for individuals, couples, families or larger groups. Catering is available for parties and schools requiring sole use. Facilities include a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, dining room, lounge, conference & classroom provision and ample parking. The tranquil wooded garden is surrounded by the river Exe and is perfect for camping (8 pitches) and viewing the stars in the Exmoor Dark Skies Reserve. A358 from Taunton toward Minehead for approx 3 miles, turn left onto the B3224. Keep on B3224 for approx 16 miles eventually signed Exford. Go through Exford, over the bridge and turn left, then immediately left into the hostel car park.

There are Glamping Pods now available at Exford Hostel
Very exciting to see Glamping pods being installed at Exford Hostel. Exford Hostel already has camping, as well as dorms and private rooms in the hostel. The tranquil wooded garden around the hostel make a perfect glamping site. It is surrounded on three sides by the river Exe, and close to the centre of the village of Exford, near to two pubs, a tea room and the village shop. At the heart of Exmoor National Park, a traditional piece of English countryside and one of the UK’s Dark Skies Reserves. Glamping at Exford hostel gives the fun of camping under the stars and the comfort of the Hostels hot showers, a cosy lounge, self-catering kitchen and home cooked hostel meals.
Eat your way across Exmoor during February 2016!
All across February it is the annual Exmoor Food Festival. Participating Restaurants all across the region will offer 2 courses for £10.00 / 3 courses for £15.00 between 1 and 28 February.
