The South Downs Eco Lodge, (previously called Wetherdown Lodge), provides 4 types of accommodation and has had an award- winning eco-renovation. All are part of The Sustainability Centre which promotes environmental awareness and low impact living in the heart of the South Downs National Park. We are right on the South Downs Way National Trail and ideal for walkers, cyclists, business away-days and family get-togethers.
The Hostel has 14 rooms available for advanced group bookings or individual rooms can be booked from approximately 6 weeks to 3 days prior to the date required. It has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, a communal area, comfortable bedrooms with linen & towels provided, and shared bathrooms/toilets.
The Bed & Breakfast has 11 rooms, all en-suite, newly renovated and available at all times, as is the peaceful Campsite.
The Campsite has 3 Yurts and 9 Camping Pitches and solar showers, offering a peaceful real camping experience. Yurts are only available in the summer.
Our Beech Café is open Wednesday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch and tea from 8.30am to 4pm.
The centre has large grounds with woodland trails. Within 2 miles there are country pubs, local shops and take-aways/deliveries

Individuals can book online via Sustainability Centre's website (Orange button). Groups, please book by telephone or email. Group bookings are available well in advance. B&B, Camping and Yurts can be booked well in advance or near the time. The Hostel rooms can be individually from 4 to 6 weeks prior to your dates.

Just a mile from South Downs Eco Lodge runs the Meon River. A classic Chalk Stream that springs up, filtered through the chalk to produce clear, beautiful stretches of water. This mineral-rich water is a unique habitat supporting swaths of White Crowfoot flowers loved by Damselfly, Minows, Brown Trout, and King Fishers as featured by David Attenborough.
