Blue Room Hostel is centrally located in Newquay on the north Cornish coast. Renowned for being the surfing capital of the U.K. and one of the nation’s favourite seaside towns, Newquay is home to sandy beaches, various water sports, a famed and buzzing nightlife and quality eateries.The Blue Rooms provides budget hostel accommodation to individuals, couples, families, small and large groups, schools, colleges etc. The hostel sleeps up to 60 across 15 en suite rooms. There are 5 doubles and 10 dorms of varying sizes. The room are spread over 3 floors, please note there isn't a lift. Book by the bed, the room or book sole use of the whole place. Facilities include include a bar, lounge, T.V. room, tea & coffee making facilities, toaster. microwave and free WiFi throughout.
A free basic continental breakfast is provided to all guests and although there isn't a self catering kitchen guests are welcome to bring their own food/take-aways and eat it in the lounge where there are tables and chairs. Crockery and cutlery are provided and staff will even do your washing up!
The town centre with it's shops, cafes, bars etc is a 5-10 min walk away. The Great Western and Tolcarne Beaches are within a 2-minute stroll and the famous surfing beach Fistral Beach is 30 min' walk or a 5 min drive away
For walkers the South West Coast Path passes close by.
Bed linen is provided, please BYO towels. There is limited off-road parking (£8 per day), it works on a first come, first served basis.
