Accommodation & Watersport Activity Centre in Cowes

Cowes Base Camp is located at UKSA, a charitable organisation and leading Watersports centre, in the bustling seaport of Cowes on the Isle of Wight. UKSA offers great-value catered accommodation and activities for groups of all sizes (from 10 to 335)

This new Base Camp initiative is aimed at families and small groups who are looking for a holiday by the sea with optional activities.

The accommodation is in private 4-person, 6-person, and 8-person bunk rooms with some twin and single rooms. Ideal for families of all sizes. The rooms are arranged in blocks so large and small groups have self-contained spaces. There are no self-catering facilities and guests can choose from B&B, half, or full board.

The Base Camp's 4-acre site is situated directly on the waterfront. Facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, canteen, full-sized sports hall, drying room, outdoor bike storage, bar, young person’s chill out zone and outside relaxing area. There is also a variety of classrooms and break-out areas if needed.

A wide range of watersports and land-based activities can be arranged if required. Activities such as sailing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, kayaking etc are hugely popular with the young and the young at heart.

As well as the sea, the island has plenty to entertain you. Why not visit some of the island's famous attractions like Dinosaur Isle or Osborne House?

There is limited car parking and transfers to and from the ferries can be arranged with notice. Making this an ideal location for a holiday without your car.
