Winter in the Elenydd

There’s nothing nicer on a bright winter’s day than a good walk or cycle ride in the Elenydd wilderness and a nice, warm log fire when you get back to the hostel. You’d book out the whole place for a minimum of 30 people so you have the place to yourselves with a self-catering kitchen,  large activity room and comfortable dormitories with bedding included. The location is fabulous with magnificent views and walks in all directions on your doorstep. We can organise adventurous activities and loan outdoor kit such as waterproofs and boots if required. At the end of the day you can relax round the fire and we have a large drying room for any wet kit.

Gearing up for School Holidays

Our 8 bed barn conversion and 2-3 bed cottage are both available this February half term. Whether you’re into walking, running, horse riding, cycling, wildlife, art, archaeology, astronomy or visiting local castles, there’s never a dull moment here. Not bad for a hill farm within Northumberland National Park 1.5 miles off the public road! Of course, you don’t have to venture far – for the less-adventurous, we have marked walks from the doorstep, and there’s a log burner and TV to curl up in front of.
