Located on a working farm near Alstonefield on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border, Alstonefield camping barn is near Dovedale, the Manifold Valley, Hartington, Leek and Ashbourne. A perfect base to visit Alton Towers or spend the day exploring the wonderful White Peak landscape. Great for quiet parties (but not stag and hen parties), group get-togethers or team building events. The barn welcomes families and is great for childrens sleepover parties with a spacious upstairs room for games. The barn is close to Manifold and Tissington off road trails for cyclists, Ramshaw Rocks for climbers and for those who enjoy water sports the barn is 20 minutes drive from Carsington Water. Also ideal for walkers, school, DofE and Scouts. This is camping in the comfort of a remote cosy barn with unrivalled views. You need to bring usual camping equipment including camping mats or blow up air bed, sleeping bags, cooking stove and fuel, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. As there is no electricity in the barn you will also need to bring torches and flat safety night/tea light candles and logs for the WOODBURNING STOVE.
