Located on a working farm near Alstonefield on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border, Alstonefield camping barn is near Dovedale, the Manifold Valley, Hartington, Leek and Ashbourne. A perfect base to visit Alton Towers or spend the day exploring the wonderful White Peak landscape. Great for quiet parties (but not stag and hen dos), group get togethers or team building events. The barn welcomes families, cyclists, walkers, DofE, Scouts and school groups.
This is camping in the comfort of a remote cosy barn with unrivalled views. You need to bring usual camping equipment including camping mats or blow up air bed, sleeping bags, cooking stove and fuel, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. As there is no electricity in the barn you will also need to bring torches and flat safety night/tea light candles and logs for the WOODBURNING STOVE. Alstonefield camping barn is available this weekend 23rd and 24th March. Hire the whole barn for one night at £108 and get the next night free. The lambing shed is busy and visitors to the camping barn are welcome to come along and have a look.
From 10th March to early May, book two nights in the barn to see lambing on the farm.
