St Johns in the Vale Camping Barn, Low Bridge End Farm, St John’s-in-the-Vale, Keswick, CA12 4TS
St John’s-in-the-Vale Camping Barn is adapted from an 18th century stable and hayloft, in an idyllic setting. Overlooking St John’s Beck, the peaceful hill farm has stunning views to Blencathra, Helvellyn and Castle Rock.
The Barn has a sleeping area upstairs (mattress provided) with a sitting and dining area below. Separate toilet, shower and cooking area (bring your own stove, cooking and eating equipment) are within the building. A wood-burning stove provides a focal point and warmth!
There is a BBQ and seating area outside and, as there is no light pollution, the star-filled night skies are magical. Northern Lights have been seen too! Low Bridge End Farm has a tea garden – all home baking.
