June 16th 2022
If the answer is No – Why not???
If there is only one route you can add to your list for this year, it has to be The Snowdonia Way! Whether you choose to follow the mountain route or the less strenuous but as enjoyable valley route, it’s a must-do for anyone who loves to walk.
You find Plas Isa in the centre of Dolgellau with plenty of places to eat and drink as well as shops to replenish your supplies, right on the doorstep. And if the weather is not all to kind on the day, don’t worry we are not scared of a bit of mud and there’s plenty of space in the house to get your gear dried out again.
First leg is from Machynlleth to Dolgellau – book your room with us (www.plasisaguesthouse.co.uk), and we will make sure you have a good rest, ready for the next leg to Trawsfynydd.
Cycle the Mawddach Trail from Plas Isa Dolgellau to Barmouth
April 25th 2022
Enjoy the traffic free 9 mile ride along the Mawddach river to the beach.
Time and time again, our guests tell us how they loved their family cycle ride along the old dis-used railway line. The views over the Mawddach river are ever changing with the tides and going over the old wooden railway bridge takes you to the center of Barmouth. Or you could opt for an ice cream on the beach.
You can either bring your own bikes or hire them here in Dolgellau. And you can see the start of the trail from our kitchen window – it could not be easier.
If you would like more information, please get in touch through our website or drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
