The building is Grade II listed and has 5 spacious bedrooms with 3-5 beds per room – all private rooms, no dormitories. The rooms have a selection of bunks and single beds. The singles can be amalgamated to make super king-sized doubles for couples. Your bed will be fully made, ready to dive straight in, all bedding provided. There are ample bathrooms & toilets throughout the house. When possible, we will allocate one bathroom per bedroom, but we cannot guarantee this for every booking. In the morning, a complimentary continental style breakfast is served in the large dining room. The lounge is a good room to relax with a good book, listen to your favourite music or to watch TV. The self-catering kitchen is open for everyone who prefers to cook their own meal. However, there is a good choice of pubs and restaurants within walking distance, you might want to try.
Great stop for walkers on the Snowdonia Way, Cambrian Way or those exploring the endless other walking trails in the area plus Cadair Idris is close by. The Mawddach Trail starts from the backdoor - guests can either walk or cycle the 9 miles to Barmouth, along the estuary. For mountain bikers and cyclists (Lon Las Cymru route) bike storage for 6-8 bikes is available – please let us know at time of booking if you wish to use this.

A great place to stay on the cycle Lôn Las Cymru (NCR 8)

Find Plas Isa Dolgellau, right on the Lôn Las Cymru route. You do the cycling – we take care of the rest. Your bike(s) can be stored in our indoor bike storage that also doubles up as drying room. If you need any bike repairs, Mike at Dolgellau Cycles is happy to help you get back on the road. Your bed(s) will be made, ready to dive in – all bedding (including towel) provided. Feedback from our guests tells us that the showers are “Too good, as I don’t want to get out!”. You find us in the heart of Dolgellau, with plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as shops to replenish your supplies, on our doorstep. We will take care of breakfast: with plenty of cereals, toast, fruit, eggs, juices, coffee and tea.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Dolgellau, just 2.5 miles from the route at Penmaenpool, Plas Isa is set up for mountain bikers with a lockable bike store for 4-6 bikes, outdoor hose pipe to fight off any mud and dirt with a drying room to get your gear clean and dry again. Your beds will be fully made, ready to dive straight in, all bedding and a towel provided. You will have shared use of the bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, the dining room, the tv room. All further amenities of the small historic town of Dolgellau are on the doorstep.

Ideally situated in the centre of Dolgellau, great drying facilities, and fantastic large and well decorated rooms! Would strongly recommend to Mountain Bikers (as well as non-Mountain Bikers too!!!).
