Radcliffe’s Lodge has secure cycle storage and is right on the trail on the waterfront of Amble. After a long day on your bike during the Coast & Castles route, it’s nice to know that you’ve got a comfy bed waiting for you. Rest assured this hostel is comfy, and there’s a great view to boot! The kitchen is large and well-equipped if you feel like staying in. Or you can take advantage of the bars and restaurants in Amble.
Situated in Swanage overlooking Swanage Bay the spacious purpose built bungalow at the Cumulus Outdoors Residential Centre sleeps up to 12 and is fully self-contained, an ideal base for divers with ample parking. The Divers Down School on the pier is renowned for its experience, knowledge and expertise for all levels offering a variety of dive sites in the area.

Hodge close quarry is an old slate quarry in the Tilberthwaite Valley, near Langdale. It is high up (altitude 186m) and contains many flooded chambers accessible to experienced cavern and cave divers. Elterwater Hostel just 2 miles away provides comfortable accommodation for divers with meal available and a pub nearby.

From 9th August 2021 we can accept solo travellers in shared dorms. Private dorms are available, but maybe subject to extra costs for under occupancy. During restrictions this was waived, due to the no sharing policy that was in place. Please ensure you are taking LFT or PCR tests regularly if you are sharing dorms.
