13 acres of undisturbed woodland with campfire to yourselves.

Woodland party of camping lots of people sat around the campfire in the forest

Rookhow Bunkbarn in the Lake District  has its own ‘Quaker Wood’, a hidden gem, brimming with wildlife. A haven to explore and play or just ‘be’. What better reason do you need to stay?

There’s a woodland trail, a climbing tree,  a hidden yurt (not usable at the moment) and an upturned boat. You are free to use the woods. Many groups use the woods for workshops such as mindfulness, foraging and forest schools’ training. Families and friends enjoy it as an undisturbed place to spend time together.
