Vacancies for the Half-Term escape

Looking for something to do this coming half-term, we still have vacancies for you to enjoy the wilds of the North Pennines and all it has to offer.

Our accommodation gives much of the fun of camping, but without the hassle of tents. There is no need to find a level pitch nor to worry about the rain getting inside. Clothes can dry out even after the wettest of Pennine days!

Prepared walks that start at the door, taking you along valleys and over moors to explore the history and wildlife the area has to offer. These can be seen on our website and downloaded to your smartphone free of charge from the ViewRanger outdoor app. For a change of speed, the roads in the area are reasonably quiet, so try a cycle ride to take on the broader region should not be missed. Alternatively, the Bridleways that go around the valleys and moors are suitable for off-road cycling.

On-site, a fire pit can be safely used to teach the family how to create an open fire and then the pleasures of cooking on it. Alternatively, to relax at the side of after an enjoyable day exploring the area and watch the stars gradually appear in the dark skies above.

All of the above and so much more, but without the crowds in other locations.
