Situated close to the Golden Lion Hotel in the idyllic village of Horton in Ribblesdale the 3 Peaks bunkbarns are available for groups or individuals. An ideal location for walking the Pennine Way, climbing the 3 Peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside), caving in the many potholes, exploring the Settle to Carlisle Railway, fishing at the nearby Helwith Bridge or for a relaxing weekend away with friends and family.
The main bunkbarn has 2 large dormitory style bunkrooms, each sleeping up to 20 people. In the brand new second bunkbarn, there are four bunkrooms each sleeping up to 6 people. All bunkrooms have their own wash and shower room. Each bunkbarn has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Outside are picnic benches on a decked area with an outdoor BBQ.
There is plenty of car parking space, an excellent rail link in the village to Leeds or Carlisle and a bus service to Settle, Ingleton & Skipton. The Golden Lion Hotel shares the bunkbarns car park and provides cooked breakfasts, packed lunches or bar snacks.

3 Peaks Bunkbarn is a delightful hostel located on The Pennine Way at Horton in Ribblesdale.
The main bunkbarn has 4 x 8 bedded rooms (32 beds in total). In the brand new second bunkbarn, there are four bunkrooms each sleeping up to 6 people. This makes it ideal for school groups, DofE, colleges and universities who are looking for a base to explore the local area.
For example, this hostel would b perfect for: a university walking group navigating The Pennine way. A college group learning about the geology and geography of the area. Or a D0fE group who are challenging themselves to hike the three peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside).
In the evening, 3 Peaks Bunkbarn would be perfect for socialising as there is outside picnic benches on a decked area with an outdoor BBQ.
