Seahouses Hostel Welcomes Faith Groups!
We have welcomed a great many groups over the years of all faiths; some use this calm and quiet space as a retreat, whilst others use their time for activities or exploring local heritage. With a wide range of things to see and do locally from boat trips to the Farne Islands, visits to Bamburgh Castle and the holy island of Lindisfarne to explore, there is plenty to keep everyone busy!

Not all classrooms have walls. Robin Hood’s Bay’s cobbled streets, rock pools and coastal environment provide a natural outdoor classroom and curriculum to explore, discover and unwind. Run by ex school teachers who will share their love of learning, rock pooling, fossil hunting, star gazing and cliff walking. Ideal for residential trips and also day visits for school educational trips.
New Warden at Skiddaw House
After 6 years of successfully running Skiddaw House, Suzy and Martin have passed the reins onto a new Warden. The new Warden is Sue Edwards who has worked in hostels for over 11 years, 10 of which have been in hostels in the Lake District. Sue likes nothing better than getting a rucksack on, with tasty snacks inside, and heading out on the glorious Lake District fells with her dog Jura.

Stay in a centrally heated former town fire station, just 50m from the beach in the Harwich Conservation area. The old engine garage is now the dining area and above the fireman’s pole you can sleep in cabin style sleeping areas. The centre can also be hired for small group daytime activities without an overnight stay.

Pindale Farm welcomes bikes with engines and bikes without! UK National Cycle Route 6 and the Trans Euro Trail pass by the gates. And there is the whole of the Peak District on the doorstep to explore. There’s a locked cycle shed and secluded parking for motor bikes and a choice of great value accommodation for their owners.

You can do all this just outside our Celtic Roundhouse ? There are 16 rustic style futons which are set up as sofas during the day and beds at night around a huge wood burner to keep you cosy (logs provided).
Funky, friendly hostel in Tintagel, Cornwall
Just a short walk to Tintagel Castle and a 10 min walk to the South West Coast Path, you couldn’t want for a better location. Cote Ghyll Mill, previously Osmotherly Youth Hostel, is the ideal location for school and youth groups.
Accommodation for up to 30 children, with it’s own private woodland and wide range of outdoor activities and learning experiences right on the doorstep. Cote Ghyll Mill is located in North York Moors National Park. It is the perfect location to introduce younger children to the great outdoors in a safe and supportive setting. This top quality bunkhouse with additional terraced camping is right on the Trans Euro Trail route. Owned and run by Danny, a keen biker himself who organises bike events at the hostel, you are sure of a really warm welcome.
