We are open all year here at Ninebanks so we know how important it is to keep our guests happy and warm after a day out in the North Pennines. Nothing is better at doing so than one of our wood burning stoves, the flames from the fire will keep dry you off and keep you warm well into the evening until its time to go to go to sleep in one of our lovely, comfortable beds.

Heating the old fashioned way: fire in one of our wood burning stoves. You will feel like you’ve gone back to a simpler time and its really easy to feel more connected to nature and those you have stayed with here at the highest hostel in Britain (1550 feet).
We agree with our guests that the log burner is great for winter evenings. There’s nothing quite like relaxing in a cosy lounge with others while being warmed by the fire as it roars away in the corner keeping winter at by, inside at least.
In the aptly named Fireside Bothie you can put your feet up ,after a long day exploring the beautiful landscape surrounding Glencoe, and be warmed by the roaring open fire. It’s a wonderful feeling especially in the colder months of the year.
In the winter it can get a wee bit chilly up in the Scottish Highlands, which is why we have a roaring fire going the stove. You will be able to eat your meals in comfort and warmth here at Inchnadamph Lodge.
We have a multi-fuel stove in the living room/ kitchen to keep you warm while you relax in an evening after an amazing day. Fuel is available for purchase on site.
Relax on the comfortable sofas and warm your bones by the log burning stove in the spacious lounge. Its a great place to relax and put your feet up after a long day exploring the Brecon Beacons.
There are lots of walks on the doorstep & for mountain bikers Coed-y-Brenin & Mawddach are close by as is the seaside town of Barmouth.
All three bedrooms in the Lower Mill have en-suite bathrooms all with toilets, showers and sinks all up to a high standard.
That’s right, many of our private rooms have en suites giving you your own space here. You wont lose that community atmosphere and the chance to meet new, like minded people as there are communal spaces and a well equipped kitchen to enjoy.
After a long day walking through the stunning scenery of Wales a good meal is just what you need. If you book in advance we can prepare a delicious two course meal for you or your group to enjoy. The more notice we are given the more chance will have of being able to cater to special dietary requirements.
Our dinner time meals are served chalet style of a set menu and all you need to do to eat one of our delicious meals is let us know ahead of time that you are planning to eat with us.
