The wonderful Mid Wales Bunkhouse is open for Winter Staycations
October 4th 2020
This is your opportunity to hire the bunkhouse, as a self contained holiday let. Bookings are subject to the latest COVID restrictions.
We will be leaving at least 3 days between groups to avoid any possible infection. Please bring your own bedding (we will provide a sheet and pillow case). To help protect our staff we will ask you to give the bunkhouse a good clean when you leave.
All guests are asked to scan the QR code on arrival using the governments Covid 19 app. There is also a £200 security/cleaning deposit which is refunded 3 days after you leave.
Space and wildlife right at the centre of Wales
April 2nd 2020
Mid Wales Bunkhouse and Camping is in a quiet area which is splendidly wild. Be it summer or winter it can be explored by bike, on foot, on horseback or by canoe, with each season offering its own insights.
We are close to the Elan and Wye Valleys, the Trans Cambrian Trail and Glyndwrs Way. The Lon Las Cymru cycle route is also close by, and on our website you will find a suggested, and we believe more interesting alternative route, taking you right past the door. The Radnorshire Ring, regional cycle route 25, also passes close by, and this can easily form part of a circuit across Wales from East to West.
December 24th 2014
We had a brilliant few days in this un-visited part of Wales, all thank to our hosts at Mid Wales Bunkhouse who made us so welcome in their haven and took the time to pass on local knowledge about what to do. In the Cambrian mountains you escape from the pressure of everyday life, no traffic, no hordes of tourists, just beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and peace.Read More
