Beili Neuadd Bunkhouse is a converted 18th century stone barn in stunning countryside just 2 miles from the small market town of Rhayader – the gateway to the Elan Valley and Cambrian Mountains. On three National Cycle routes and the Trans Cambrian Route, Beili Neuadd offers lovely gardens, ponds and stunning scenery. The centrally heated barn sleeps 16 in 3 en suite bunkrooms and includes a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and drying room. The bunks have full sized mattresses, bed linen is included and towels can be hired. Accommodation is also available as B&B in the main house and there is space to camp in the paddock. The paddock has picnic tables and a BBQ and there is ample parking in the yard. The barn is 2 miles from the small market town of Rhayader – the gateway to the Elan Valley reservoirs, the Lake District of Wales. A wide range of activities are possible including cycling, mountain biking, fishing, pony trekking, canoeing, Gigrin Farm Red Kite feeding centre is in Rhayader, bird watching and walking. OS Explorer 200/OS147 GR 994698. Take the A44 east bound from Rhayader town centre (clock). After 0.4 miles turn left on unclassified road signposted Abbey Cwm-hir with Beili Neuadd sign. Take 1st left after 1.5 miles. Beili Neuadd is 2nd farm on right after 0.4 miles.
