A week of things to do when staying with us, day 4

On your bike!
There are many adventurous souls who have cycled around our quiet country lanes, and some use the bridleways to escape onto the moors. We are fortunate to have the combination of quiet road and plenty of open countryside, without too many other people to share with. So pump up those tyres and get pedalling, we will give you a warm welcome whether for one night or several as you explore the area.

A week of things to do whilst staying with us, day 3.

Water, water everywhere! This basic compound has created much of the landscape within the UK, either as a river of ice during the ice ages or running water in the shape of streams, becks, burns and rivers. We are blessed with having some amazing waterways, big and small, in the area to enjoy. They are there to be explored, walking or running, or just a gentle picnic on their banks.
