Sunday 17 September 2017. Original compositions infused with a passion for foot-stomping bluegrass and old time music with traditional songs and tunes.
Nic Zuppardi and Adam Clark join forces as Clark & Zuppardi, blending original compositions infused with a passion for foot-stomping bluegrass and old time music with traditional songs and tunes.. Both seasoned instrumentalists in their own right, the duo have developed their own unique sound with clawhammer banjo, tenor guitar, mandolin and guitar. Nic regularly performs with BBC-folk award nominee Dan Walsh, and is a third of the Georgia Shackleton Trio. Adam is also one half of Nobodaddy, and has worked with a huge range of artists from Mobo award-winner Zara McFarlane to West African ‘Griot’ Sefo Kanuteh.
We prefer to have open air performances in the Backpackers Courtyard, the band under cover and the audience enjoying the fire pits and dark skies of this beautiful part of the world. However if the weather is horrible, then we move into the Brick Barn out of the inclement weather.
There are benches in the courtyard, but you are welcome to also bring fold up seating. Please don’t bring food or drink. There is a bar from Norfolk Brewhouse & Black Shuck, serving beers, wines and cocktails.
We can’t imagine a better end to a late Spring weekend, so why not join us. Book a bed with us in the Hostel or a pitch on the campsite and entrance is included. Otherwise, tickets available in advance from our website for £3.
This gig is part of the developing live music offering at Deepdale Backpackers and Camping. Find our more here.
Why not make a long weekend of it, and stay Friday & Saturday night, enjoying a break on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.
Price: FREE if staying at Deepdale Backpackers & Camping – Otherwise tickets: £3
