Cleikum Mill is available for booking on this doggy event weekend at Traquair House which is a short walk from our front door, we accept dogs if families/groups book the whole building for exclusive use.
Innerleithen is dog walking paradise!! Local cafes are dog friendly as well.

Cleikum Mill Lodge is surrounded by a huge selection and variety of walks from our front door be it flat river side trails, woodland rambles or longer walks above town into the hills, we supply all the maps/ information to help you choose .
Our folders have suggested days out as well. to help you make the most of your stay and Edinburgh is a bus ride away/ ( one hour drive) which also makes a great day out.
Our own sister web site ( Bike Valley Trails) has 40 of the very best bike routes to choose from to help you explore our “back yard”. and that is in addition to the Two Trail Centres and the harder technical expert mtb trails at nearby Caberston Forest .
Family friendly trail centre Glentress is a 7km pedal away down the railway path.
We are passionate about this area and want you to make the most of your time here and can advise and assist as much you want us to.
Relax in a choice of local Spa’s , arrange a visiting sports massage and feast on some great local produce. There is a good wild swimming spot in the Tweed a few minutes stroll away for the ultimate way to start the day.
Go Ape is nearby, stand up boards and other watersport activities can be hired at St Marys Loch a stunning location to have fun or just sit in the cafe looking out for Golden Eagles!
