Historic Reagill Village Hall, (formerly the oldest school in Westmorland, founded 400 years ago) is making history again. This time it is opening its ancient doors to overnight guests. It is perfect for people travelling the Coast to Coast mountain bike cycle route The facilities are basic (this is reflected in the price) and the accommodation has much to offer. It’s located close to the C2C walking & mountain biking routes, it’s got great heating and the tiny hamlet of Reagill with it’s 20 houses, quiet roads and no street lights will take you back to a bygone era.

Rhosiili Bunkhouse provides self contained accommodation on the same site at the Village hall. It is run for the benefit of the local community. The Village Hall hosts Quiz nights, Theatre groups, Murder Mystery, Twm Path, Poems and Pints and other events. Guests at the bunkhouse a always welcome to attend. Quite a few guests hire the hall for wedding parties and celebrations or just as extra room and workspace for training events.

Ten miles from the dive site on Brixham Breakwater, Start Bay FSC is an excellent base for groups of 20 to 40 people. Overlooking the South Devon coast with panoramic views of the coastline and close to pubs and shops in Slapton.
And Falmouth Lodge Backpackers is the perfect place to stay for a self-catering holiday. With availability throughout October you can book it for your sole use for up to 12 people. Bookings are primarily on a weekly basis with a Friday changeover, but six and even five day direct bookings may be possible. Great value at £400 per night.

The seventeenth century Old School at Yealand includes a Quaker Meeting house from the early days of Quaker history and a large hall with dance floor. There is plenty of room to socialise including a kitchen and dining area and 3 bedrooms. Group sizes can be expanded to up to 25 people with ease, using stacking beds and sleeping matts.
The Glenorchy Centre, run by a local church, includes a hall within the accommodation. The Hall is ideal for conferences or activities, it has a large stage, plenty of chairs, TV with DVD and table tennis and snooker tables. The fully heated accommodation has two dormitories and two smaller bedrooms, all with showers and toilets. There is a fitted kitchen and a dinning room. Available to self-catering groups.
Garrigill Village Hall in the Lake District is ideal for DofE Groups. There is bunkhouse style accommodation above the village hall and a simple campsite with showers and toilets in the grounds. There is even Wifi. All this and a discounted camping rate for DofE Groups. It couldn’t be better.
A big welcome to Chase the Wild Goose. A superb, friendly & popular hostel just outside Fort William. Perfect for walkers, it’s on the Great Glen Way and at the start/finish of the West Highland. The area has so much to offer for all ages, including a ride on the steam train, known as Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter films

Allenheads Lodge makes for the perfect stopover on the Isaac’s Tea Trail. Bed linen is provided and facilities include a drying room and laundry facilities. If you don’t feel like self catering, you can book breakfast at the Lodge and evening meals are available locally. Please note this hostel is only for groups.
Garrigill Village Hall is around 2.5 miles from Isaac’s Tea Trail and offers basic overnight accommodation for walkers. There’s an 8 bed bunk room with bedding available to hire, or for larger groups the hall itself can be hired with up to 12 camp-beds available but no bedding provided.
Over lockdown we made the decision to make 2 of our bunkhouses into self-contained units to appeal to families and small “bubbles”
