December 24th 2020
Fully catered breaks for members of clubs and associations. – We will work with you to agree a personalised plan of activities and the catering specific to your stay.
Gilfach Wen Barn is an ideal base for clubs and associations to meet. For spring and summer 2021 we are offering a customised, fully catered option for smaller groups to have a weekend together in a Covid regulation compliant way. – I am a tourism ambassador for Carmarthenshire, the Brecon Beacons National Park. and chair of the tourism cluster group for Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni Mountain so can advise you on planning activities and visits to attractions. The menu for your stay will be devised for your group working with a local chief who will come in to cook the meals for you.

Gilfach Wen is closed for now.

Covid-19 restrictions make it difficult to open our barn just yet. But watch this space to see when we will be welcoming guests again to our lovely barn in South West Wales.
The exciting news is that we have been spending our ‘down’ time coming up with some great idea for outdoor activities you can do while staying with us.

Want to head out for a walk along the longest beach in Wales, the 7 mile long Pembrey Country Park and Beach
June 29th 2020
Gilfach Wen Barn is just a short drive from a selection of beaches including the 7 mile long Pembrey beach if you tire of the open spaces of Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni Mountain.
Bookings are welcome from up to 6 adults and their children from one extended household (can be up to 4 permanently joined households). The generous size of the kitchen and dining room at Gilfach Wen Barn means that there is plenty of space for everyone to socially distance.
