Rookhow Bunkbarn, housed in the former stables of the historic 300-year-old Quaker Meeting House, was completely refurbished in 2023/24. This fab hostel now boast a new kitchen, new toilets and showers, double glazed heritage windows, underfloor heating powered by an air source heat pump and some new furniture and fittings. It’s still the same simple friendly vibe- just a bit smartened up, less damp and more sustainable.
