Bunkhouse Accessibility Statement
People with mobility issues are allowed to bring vehicles onto the redbrick area around the bunkhouse. Access to the bunkhouse from here is down a sloping, wide, hard-surface path. There is an accessible bathroom on the ground floor and close to this (also on the ground floor) is the Badger bedroom, which has a single bed and two sets of bunks. Kitchen and Lounge are also on the ground floor.

We have availability throughout the Easter hols for groups big or small or solo travellers. Sole use price according to group size. Indidivuals £22pp. Dogs welcome £2pppn. Bring your own sleeping bags (or hire one of ours). Firepit and BBQ. Provide your own wood or buy from the local garage. Local walks from the door and further afield. Good Local pub just minutes walk away, also dog friendly.

Three Nights Easter Break
Who would like to spend Easter at a remote, off-grid location with stunning views across the Edale skyline and the Kinder plateau on your doorstep? That’s what Crookstone Barn has to offer – so push open those huge barn doors and reconnect with the outdoors! The offer includes pick-up and drop-off of all your stuff (food, drink, bedding etc) while your party enjoys the beautiful 2.5 mile walk up to the barn. Once we’ve opened up the place and shown you how everything works, we’ll leave you to enjoy three nights of delightful solitude.

Born in 1791, Anne Lister became one of the most interesting women of the nineteenth century. She is known as ‘the first modern lesbian’. A successful woman entrepreneur and landowner, she kept an extensive diary, partly in code, running to four million words. The diary reveals her many affairs with other women throughout her life.
