Group accommodation centre on the shores of Loch Long
Sleeping up to 120 across small dorms and twin/single rooms, many of which are en-suite, Ardentinny is the perfect place for friends & family get-togethers, clubs, schools, faith groups, fields studies, activity retreats etc. In fact any group looking for fantastic facilities, stunning scenery and splendid isolation will love it here.
Although we mainly operate as a group booking location, during the summer we will open dates to offer smaller booking options for families, couples and solo travellers with the choice to book activities.
We only accommodate guests in shared rooms with people they already know. While our base rate for a solo guest starts at £45, the price per person is reduced when you are sharing a room with friends or family.
The Centre boasts a large kitchen, several meeting rooms, play areas with pool table etc., a large communal dining room, 2 drying rooms and a large equipment room. Catering packages can be added to booking. Enquire for more details.
The location is ideal for all sorts of outdoor activities; walking, mountain biking, wild swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, diving etc. Arrange your own, or book an instructor and hire equipment through the Centre.

Group Adventures at Ardentinny Outdoor Centre

We recently welcomed a group of adults and children to Ardentinny Outdoor Centre for a four-day activity week. With a packed programme of outdoor activities, plenty of time spent exploring the local area, and opportunities to relax and socialise together, the visit was a fantastic example of how groups of all ages can enjoy the outdoor experience at Ardentinny.
Earlier this month, we welcomed a group of adults and children to Ardentinny for a four-day activity week, with our centre providing a comfortable base throughout their stay. Over the course of the week, participants took part in a range of outdoor activities designed to encourage teamwork, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
The group embraced every aspect of their visit, from activity sessions and outdoor adventures to spending time together in the beautiful surroundings of the centre. This week highlighted the unique benefits of residential outdoor experiences, bringing people together, encouraging personal development, and creating opportunities to connect with nature. Whether taking on new challenges or simply enjoying time spent outdoors, the group made the most of their time at Ardentinny Outdoor Centre!
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the group and were delighted to see so much enthusiasm, laughter, and participation throughout the week.
