Step straight out of the door and onto one of 10 classic road cycling routes, all circular and starting from the lodge. These carefully curated rides take you through open moorland, picturesque villages, and charming market towns, with distances ranging from a relaxed 16km to a more challenging 77km. For Mountain Bikers, a short trip to Reeth opens up a wealth of exciting mountain biking trails to explore. After a day in the saddle, return to a warm welcome, a comfortable bed, and the peace of mind that your bike is safe and secure in our locked storage area.

St Michael’s Lodge is a former church in Hudswell that now provides accommodation for up to 16 guests. It has two electric vehicle charging points and facilities for charging e-bikes. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, it offers six en-suite private bedrooms, a cosy communal area, a drying room, and a self-catering kitchen. Outside, there is a seating area, two EV charging points, and secure bike storage with a washdown area.
