Darsham Country Centre is easily accessible from the North Sea Cycle Route

Darsham Country Centre loves to host cycle groups. It provides cheap self catering accommodation of up to 30 people in 7 bedrooms. It is easily accessible from the North Sea Cycle Route with just a 3 mile diversion along the A1120 from Peasenhall (a tourist route) through to Yoxford and Darsham. The designated cycle route can then be picked up just north of the centre along Willow Marsh Lane. There is a Budgens supermarket within walking distance of the centre that also provides sandwiches and pastries and 2 pubs serving good food one mile away. Available for one night stays. An excellent pit stop!

To get to Hawes you have to drive for 7km (or bike if you have the legs for it) over the infamous Buttertubs Pass. With 350m elevation and spectacular views down Swaledale, then over to Ingleborough, and down Wensleydale, it is a stunning route.

This trail is a 13 mile circuit of Oswestry, Shropshire. The trail includes many historical points of interest including the Old Race Course & the Iron Age Hill Fort. It’s a National Trail that runs alongside the English/Welsh border.  The trail is divided into five sections, making it possible to walk it in stages.
