News & Offers from Darsham Country Centre

Darsham has so much to offer

June 19th 2022

The village of Darsham in Suffolk is right on the doorstep of beautiful countryside, nature reserves and not too far from the county’s stunning coastline. Suffolk is a very underappreciated part of the country, despite it being no less beautiful and easy to get swept up in its peace and tranquillity.

Darsham County Centre is in the former railway station masters house, making it a rather unique place to stay and is perfect for groups looking to get away from it all.

New to Independent Hostels!

May 19th 2021

If you are looking to stay somewhere that little bit different, at a very reasonable price, your search could well be over. Darsham Country Centre is away from the crowds yet close to a heritage coastline. You’ll have fantastic beaches, wildlife reserves and great walking within a few miles. Then for added interest and quirkiness you will be staying in the old station and station master’s house on the Ipswich to Lowestoft line (trains pass once an hour). Children will love it.

Run by an independent charity affiliated with the Woodcraft Folk, this is a groups only accommodation with capacity for max 24 in side & max 15 outside in tents. Dogs welcome.
