There’s an accessible ground floor room at Haworth Youth Hostel

There are two ground floor bedrooms at Haworth Youth Hostel. One of which is an accessible 4-bedded room, (double with a single over plus another twin bunk). The other is a 2-bedded room. There’s an accessible bathroom with shower, low washbasin, WC and grab rails. Transfer is left-handed onto the toilet, this is in the corridor next to the accessible bedroom. There is also a unisex WC and a unisex shower.

Walking the Pennine Way from the south, as you descend into Hawes along Gaudy Lane, you’ll spot Aysgill Luxury Camping Barn nestled in the Sleddale valley to your right. Take a moment to study the map—you may be able to reach it without detouring through Hawes. A mile south of Hawes on Beggarman’s Road, this beautifully converted barn sleeps up to four guests in fully made-up beds, with log burner, cosy furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. It is available for single night stays making it the perfect stopover for Pennine Way walkers.
