Luxury Hostel directly on the SWCP & the Tarka Trail
Rafters@Brookfield is situated in the bustling village of Braunton, directly on the South West Coast Path, The Tarka Trail (north loop) and the Devon Coast to Coast cycle route (NCN 27). This small, luxury hostel is the perfect place for walkers and cyclists to rest, recoup and recharge before the next leg of their adventure. The beds (not bunks) are fully made up and towels are provided. For your meals and pack lunches, there are cafes, sandwich shops, pubs serving evening meals and a Tesco’s within walking distance.
NEW Cycle Facilities Opened
Thanks to a grant from Northumberland National Park Authority, at Ilderton Dod Barns we now have an upgraded lockable cycle shed with storage for up to 10 bikes, electric charge points, work station, tools, pressure washer and comprehensive cycle guides including maps with suggested on- and off-road routes locally. We’re located on an 1800 acre working hill farm in the north of the Park, on one of the loops of the Sandstone Way mountain biking route.
