The Corwen Walking Festival, this weekend, is just 9 miles from Bala Backpackers Hostel.

The Owain Glyndwr hills walk on Saturday 31st August takes you through some truly stunning Countryside around the town of Corwen. There is a bus from Corwen to Glyn Ceiriog then you walk back through the valleys and hills that our local hero Owain Glyndwr would have travelled through over 600 years ago. Magical history and some amazing countryside.
