The Roost’s cosy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, cabins on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, (just south of Merthyr Tydfil), are a perfect base of cyclists. They are directly on Lon Las Cymru, half way along the Taff Trail which runs for 55 miles from Cardif to Brecon and for mountain bikers, Bike Park Wales is just over a mile away by bike, off road, or 10 minutes by car.

Spend New Year in the mountains
Pentre Bach Bunkhouse is still free over the New Year. Why not gather a group of friends together and see the New Year in surrounded by the mountains of Snowdonia? The bunkhouse sleeps 16 in alpine-style accommodation with sleeping platforms and (thick) mattresses. Just bring your own sleeping bags & pillows. You’ll be hard-pressed to find cheaper accommodation around over the New Year.
