17 year olds welcome in a Snowdonia Bunkhouse

Situated between Waunfawr and Betws Garmon, Pentre Bach Bunkhouse provides accommodation and a campsite. The ground floor of the bunkhouse has a dining and cooking area, while upstairs there are alpine sleeping platforms with mattresses. Showers, toilets, and washing and drying facilities—shared with the campsite—are just across the yard. 17-year-olds as long as a responsible adult is contactable.

If you don’t want to worry about cooking your dinner, then the Ogwen Bank Caravan Park is open to non-residents for evening meals and is a 20 minute walk away. The bunkhouse has a drying room , free WiFi and a self catering kitchen. BYO sleeping bag. Fire pit and seating in the adjoining field. £10 for 16kg logs, kindling and fielighter.

There’s an accessible ground floor room at Haworth Youth Hostel

There are two ground floor bedrooms at Haworth Youth Hostel. One of which is an accessible 4-bedded room, (double with a single over plus another twin bunk). The other is a 2-bedded room. There’s an accessible bathroom with shower, low washbasin, WC and grab rails. Transfer is left-handed onto the toilet, this is in the corridor next to the accessible bedroom. There is also a unisex WC and a unisex shower.
