Puttenham Barn is a wonderful old listed building which has been sympathetically restored to be environmentally friendly. They have rainwater harvesting, solar electricity and solar hot water. We are a charitable organisation that was set up to provide self catered accommodation in an environment that those less fortunate may not be ordinarily be able to access. With 25 beds, bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a remote location, it is the perfect place to experience the Peak District in all its glory. The Woodlands Centre is run by a small charity whose sole purpose is to provide low cost, accessible accommodation for young people. Set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in Betws-Y-Coed, an extensive variety of activities are available nearby. The cost to youth groups is kept as low as possible, with discounts up to 55%. Groups can have exclusive use of the whole centre, which includes 8 bedrooms sleeping 33 people.
