Thorney How are the latest hostel in the IHUK network, to add an Independent Hostels logo to their bunkhouse. Thorney How is an Ex-YHA gentleman’s residence in the Lakes. The bunkhouse rooms are comfortably carpeted and share the social space and catering facilities in the main house. The bunkhouse sleeps 16 and is ideal for for families and smaller parties traveling together.

Our Accessible facilities at Dacres
Access: There are a few steps leading to the main door, but this can also be accessed by a gentle grass slope. There is level access between the stable and the barn, which contains the main fridge/freezer.
Bedrooms: There is a ground floor bedroom which is wheelchair accessible, however the upper dorm is not accessible to wheelchairs.
Toilet: There is a wheelchair accessible wet room on the ground floor which has underfloor heating and contains a toilet, fixed overhead shower and sink. There are grab rails by the toilet, sink and on the door.
