Whatever happend to YHA Ridgeway?
The Court Hill Centre, formerly known as Ridgeway Youth Hostel, was run by the YHA untill the late 80s. In April 1987 it became an independent hostel, owned and run by the local community Court Hill Trust. Still marketed by the YHA it was operated as part of the YHA network under their franchise scheme for a further 10 years. The centre made the break with the YHA in July 2007 when the YHA’s required that locals should be excluded from the hostel site.

We have availabilty over February 1/2 Term at Lon Dryll Outdoors. Our main house sleeps up to 13 with a further 17 accommodated in our adjacent bunk house, ideal for a 1/2 term getaway in beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) with friends and family. Our accommodation is dog friendly. We are ideally located 10 minutes from Llanberis and the foot of Yr Wydffa (Snowdon) and 15 minutes from the Ogwen Valley for Mountain adventures.
