OverviewSkirfare Barn is a traditional stone barn and is a distinctive feature of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales landscape. It stands at the confluence of Upper Wharfedale and Littondale with the climbers' challenge, Kilnsey Crag, providing a spectacular backdrop. The area is famous for walking, cycling and touring with several footpaths easily accessible from the barn including the Dales Way. Kilnsey is nearby where you can find The Kilnsey Park providing day fishing and food.Or there's The Tennant Arms Hotel for those who prefer a bar snack. Pony and Llama trekking is available at Conistone. Although altered little on the outside, the Barn has been converted to provide centrally heated accommodation with fully equipped kitchen, common room with TV and DVD player and showers on the upper floor, and 5 bedrooms & drying room on the ground floor. Ample car parking and a grass recreation area. Free WiFi. Perfect accommodation for cycling or walking holidays or friends and family-get-togethers.

Skirfare Barn offers luxury accommodation to groups and their dogs. There’s more than enough walk opportunities in the Yorkshire Dales
Yorkshire has it’s fair share of sticks to be thrown and birds to be chased. Skirfare Barn is an excellent place to relax after a day of doing nothing but. The Barn conversion may look basic from the outside however stepping in it’s easy to see the care taken in the refurbishment. The Hostel is fully heated and has free wifi for guests, great for downloading postman defence videos or relaxing after long walks. The kitchen is also well equipped so there’s no worry about not being able to curl up with a mug of Yorkshire tea in the evenings. Please note there is a charge of £15 per dog per stay.
