OverviewSkirfare Barn is a traditional stone barn and is a distinctive feature of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales landscape. It stands at the confluence of Upper Wharfedale and Littondale with the climbers' challenge, Kilnsey Crag, providing a spectacular backdrop. The area is famous for walking, cycling and touring with several footpaths easily accessible from the barn including the Dales Way. Kilnsey is nearby where you can find The Kilnsey Park providing day fishing and food.Or there's The Tennant Arms Hotel for those who prefer a bar snack. Pony and Llama trekking is available at Conistone. Although altered little on the outside, the Barn has been converted to provide centrally heated accommodation with fully equipped kitchen, common room with TV and DVD player and showers on the upper floor, and 5 bedrooms & drying room on the ground floor. Ample car parking and a grass recreation area. Free WiFi. Perfect accommodation for cycling or walking holidays or friends and family-get-togethers. Kilnsey Crag is one of the famous natural attractions the area surrounding Kilnsey, including the well loved Dales Way. We invite climbers to enjoy our facilities at Skirfare Barn, including a drying room, and we challenge your to mount the 180 foot of Limestone that is Kilnsey Crag!
