The Isaac’s Tea Trail goes right by our front door!
A night at Carrshield Camping Barn will add to the adventure of your walking holiday. Individuals, families, groups of up to 18 and dogs are all welcome. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag, stove and cooking utensils. Without electricity, WiFi or a mobile signal and a stream for washing it’s like wild camping with a roof, wonderfully think stone walls and a log burner!! Overflow camping may be available for larger groups.

Callander Hostel will re-opening on 11th January 2021 after a short closure from 11th December
This is a community run hostel in the bustling town of Callander close to the breath taking mountains of the Trossachs National Park. During the pandemic the hostel is providing private en-suite rooms with managed the use of the guest kitchen. Online booking is available now for all dates in 2021 and up until 11th December 2020.
The Gibside Stables National Trust Bunkhouse is closed for the foreseeable future.

Winter bookings available at Thorney How
We are taking bookings for New Year, but we will not be taking any payments as deposits until we have some clarity about whether or not we will be open. We will not be able to accept any group bookings and you will be required to observe any future lockdown restrictions that may still be applied to your local area. Please do not phone us, please do send an e-mail instead.
Lodge Dinorwig’s bunkhouse is closed for winter – reopening Spring 2021.
Hoping for a brighter future when individuals can book a bunk. Alterntaivly we may need to limit the accommodation to sole use by small groups of households. Check back here to see what the future will be!
