This is our lovely hostel dog Bramble taking a breather at the top of Skiddaw during a recent trip. Although the Lake District is completely beautiful and such a special place, it got us thinking about the merits of the Yorkshire Dales, Bowland Forest and other local walks with or without your dog. You don’t always need to travel as far North as the Lake District for dramatic landscapes and beautiful views.
