Mountain bikers can explore “The Back O’Skiddaw” route, up to Skiddaw House and on to Keswick or Threlkeld then make your way back, all off road. Road cyclists will be in there element with an abundance of scenic and relatively traffic free roads. A well known loop is to cycle through Hesket, Mosedale, Mungrisedale, Threlkeld, Keswick, then to Bassenthwaite, Uldale and finishing back in Caldbeck.
