We’ve got private rooms and en-suites
At Green Man Backpackers you have a huge variety of room types to choose from. Bunkrooms (some with en-suite and some without), family rooms with en suite bathrooms, double rooms with en suite bathrooms (almost “hotel” style). You really are spoiled for choice at Green Man.
Private rooms with en suites
Its nice to have your own space sometimes, which is why here at Bath YMCA we have private rooms with double beds and en suites. It’s a little slice of luxury without breaking then bank.
We have en-suite rooms
If you don’t fancy taking part in the rush for the bathroom every morning and evening why not book on our two en-suite rooms. Rooms 6 and 7 on the second floor both have double beds and en-suite bathrooms for you to enjoy during your trip to beautiful Dunbar.

PERMANENTLY CLOSED ON 3rd MARCH 2024. Here at Derwentwater Independent Hostel we have meal times covered. Breakfast usually served between 7:30 and 8:30 AM and evening meals are served 6:00 and 7:00 PM. We can be flexible for groups and a packed lunch can be prepared for you but you need to order it the night before. Before you arrive we can send you the upcoming breakfast and dinner menus and work with you on any special dietary requirements to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
Breakfast in an Basket
That’s right, we deliver a bespoke breakfast in a basket to you in the hostel to prepare whenever you like and at your leisure. The selection of breakfast items on offer includes: Choice of cereal or porridge with milk
Locally baked loaf of bread with butter & preserves, Piece of fruit, Yogurt, Orange Juice, Tea & coffee, Eggs. Special dietary requirements can be catered for but it may incur an extra charge.
We have an amazing breakfast menu
Breakfast is not included in the price of the room but for an additional charge you can order a Full English breakfast, Continental breakfast, butties or egg on toast to be delivered to your room.
A menu will be in your room to pre-order the night before.
Breakfast Hamper Available
A breakfast hamper is available on request here at Hebden Bridge. Filled with everything you could want to get your day started the right way because breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Half-board (breakfast and lunch) available
That’s right, a delicious, locally sourced breakfast is available here at Great Glen Hostel as well as a packed lunch to set on your way travelling up and down the Great Glens and the mountains of Scotland.
Deepdale Backpackers Hostel and Groups Hostel will re-open in a limited way on July 31st.
The Groups Hostel will be available for sole use lets to single or 2 household groups and a few room only options will be available in the Backpackers Hostel.
Breakfast is a big deal round here
Choose from a hearty full English breakfast, with veggie and vegan options with great local ingredients. If that doesn’t take your fancy then maybe some delicious, creamy porridge is more up your street. Toast and cereals are available as well as Yorkshire Tea and Fairtrade coffee.
