Thornbridge Outdoors offers excellent flexible group accommodation for family and friends gatherings. In a fantastic location in the heart of the Peak District, Thornbridge Outdoors is a perfect base to access the wonderfully diverse countryside and exciting towns/villages of the Peak District. The Monsal Trail is accessible from the grounds; popular with walkers and cyclists, it's a flat, traffic-free route of 8.5 miles between Bakewell & Blackwell Mill near Buxton. The gritstone edges of Froggatt and Stanage are within easy reach and Chatsworth House & Haddon Hall are a short drive away.
The Lodge, Farm House and Woodlands buildings sleep 38, 38 and 10 people respectively. All buildings are self-contained, each having its own kitchen and dining/lounge area. The Woodlands and the Lodge are both on one level and have disabled toilet/shower rooms, making them suitable for wheelchair users. Woodlands also has other accessible features such as hoists and a single profiling bed. The Farm House, a Grade 2 listed 19th-century building is characterful with some quirky shaped rooms in the attached roundhouse.
The campsite & teepees can be booked along with the Base Camp building that provides toilets, showers, a kitchen and a dining room.
Outdoor activities led by qualified instructors can be provided both onsite and offsite at an additional cost (subject to availability). Additional meeting spaces can be hired with the accommodation.

Christmas bubbles of up to three familys are welcome to book our self-contained buildings at the heart of the Peak District. All the accommodation have their own kitchen and dining room to cook that festive meal and you get sole use of the building.

Not only do we have historic listed buildings to find your way around, our site is also home to both high and low ropes courses to get your stay off the ground! We’re in the heart of Peak District surrounded by adventure and wonderful scenery to immerse yourself in.
