As soon as we met Glen, I knew that we were in a friendly city. Glen is the manager of Hull Trinity Backpackers, and he started off our holiday with a friendly greeting and a personal tour of all of the best places to visit in the city.

Exploring Manchester Inner City Culture
We booked into Hatters on Hilton Street and as the night drew in we wandered deeper into Manchester city, to find somewhere tranquil to admire the city lights . At around 9 pm the city seemed to come to life.
Lollis Homestay Dresden
I’m a 15 year old student who earlier this year took a trip to Dresden in Germany and Stayed in Lollis Homestay. I received a very warm welcome and met lovely people at Lollis Homestay, and would love to go back or do something similar in the future.
Helvellyn Hike
My friends and I decided to walk up Helvellyn, from the summit this mountain overlooks Keswick and the path down comes into the village of Glenridding in Patterdale.
Keswick
On holiday in Keswick and we were to go on a walk, and being in the Lake District this walk started with a lake. To get to the starting point we took a ride on the Keswick Launch to the other side of Derwentwater.
Cheviots Walk with my family and friends.
The walk was fun with a sense of adventure to it, it wasn’t just on some path, it was a beautiful route through the Cheviots. After walking some way, there was a small, pretty waterfall where lots of people were picnicing.
Alnwick Castle visit on our Northumberland Holiday
For the first 3 nights of our holiday in Northumberland, we stayed at the wonderful ALNWICK YOUTH HOSTEL. Cosily nestled in the midst of this histroic town. We enjoyed all the comforts and surprises the hostel had to offer and in the daytime we set out to explore the coast and castles around Northumberland
