Wild Swims

The pool at Cwmtydu, where the river runs into the sea, is sheltered enough to swim most days of the year — bring a wetsuit outside summer.

It’s a two-minute walk from Ty Cwch, so no faff getting kit down and wet things back. Seals are often in the bay while you’re in the water, keeping their distance. Two outdoor showers back at the boathouse mean nobody’s dripping through the pods afterwards. Book a single pod, or take the whole boathouse and split the small-group rate between you — simpler to arrange either way.
