Have you ever heard of a floating hostel ? There are a few and we have a couple of them in the UK’s Independent Hostel network. The Wandering Duck is unusual in that it offers trips of a few days, fully hosted with meals provided and locks negotiated. Individual backpackers or groups of friends can join in and experience the beautiful views from the canals around Manchester into the Peak District.
