FSC large group accommodation in Snowdonia

Set within Snowdonia’s glaciated valleys, cascading rivers and wooded hillsides, FSC Rhyd-y-creuau is a historic Georgian country house in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

A popular activity centre in North Wales, it offers direct access to some of the UK's most spectacular landscapes, from rocky coastal shores to upland ecosystems, making it ideal for field studies, environmental education and adventure-based school trips. The centre is also an ideal corporate conference and wedding venue, and welcomes enquiries from a variety of groups, including those looking for a unique filming location.

The 2.2-hectare estate includes a football pitch, woodland, campfire area, freshwater ponds and a stream, allowing visitors to observe, explore and investigate the natural world without leaving the grounds.

The centre accommodates up to 102 guests in 32 bedrooms, with a mix of room sizes, most offering beds for two people. All bedding is provided. Facilities include a well-stocked licensed bar, hot and cold drink-making facilities, a library seating up to 30 people, a comfortable lounge, and four workrooms seating between 18 and 30 people, all equipped with whiteboards and projectors. There is also a games room with a pool table, table football and table tennis, plus Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Our onsite caterers provide freshly prepared seasonal meals, including a hot breakfast, packed lunch and a choice of evening meals. Ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible, and most dietary requirements can be catered for. Self-catering is also available for groups hiring the entire centre.

To help everyone enjoy this spectacular location, a range of outdoor clothing is available to hire, including walking boots and waterproof trousers. Our qualified tutors and trusted activity partners provide outdoor pursuits, team-building challenges and engaging educational experiences.
