At the end of Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk, on The Cleveland Way and just one mile from NCN 1, Robin Hood's Bay is an historic fishing village with cobbled streets, rock pools, pubs, cafes and restaurants. It is the perfect location to explore, discover and unwind.
Experienced in providing accommodation, catering and activities for schools, the Old School House is also ideal for large groups of families and friends to book exclusively. Individual rooms can also be booked by those looking for an affordable holiday by the sea.
There are nine private bedrooms sleeping 4 - 6 people while bathrooms, showers and living spaces are shared. There is a lounge with drinks facilities, a dining room and a large kitchen.
Bedding is provided, but guests should bring their own towels. Dogs welcome with prior arrangement for £10. Parking for 8 vehicles is available.

Directions:
Robin Hood's Bay is around 5 miles south of Whitby and well signposted. To find The Old School House, come down the steep bank into the village and approx. 100 yards after the sharp bend by the Laurel pub, turn right through the gate into Fisherhead Car Park. The Old School House is at the top of the car park after the left hairpin bend.

Bus Service only. Nearest train service in Whitby and Scarborough.
This lovely bunch from York have been and gone recently. They may be missing The Old School House and the beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay views but they’re already booked back in for 2025.
We have some limited availability left in 2024 but 2025 bookings are now open and filling up. We have schools, walkers, birthday parties, uniformed organisations, churches, families, youth groups, golfers and folk music groups to name just a few – get in touch if you fancy joining them with your family, friends or group.
