OverviewThe Old School House, managed by HD Adventure, welcomes schools, groups, walkers and families to the picturesque village of Robins Hood’s Bay, home to one of the most unique beaches on Yorkshire's east coast. At the end of Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk, on The Cleveland Way and just one mile from NCN 1, Robin Hood's Bay is an historic fishing village with cobbled streets, rock pools, pubs, cafes and restaurants. It is the perfect location to explore, discover and unwind.
Experienced in providing accommodation, catering and adventure for schools, the Old School House is also ideal for large groups of families and friends to book exclusively. Individual rooms can also be booked by those looking for an affordable holiday by the sea.
There are nine private bedrooms sleeping 4 and 6 people while bathrooms, showers and living spaces are shared. There is a lounge and a separate dining room. A small kitchen area equipped with a fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave is sufficient for families and individuals to self-cater and when the centre is hired for sole use a large fully equipped kitchen is also available. All catering packages including full board (with a packed lunch), Bed & Breakfast and self-catering are available. Tailor-made activities, educational day visits and team building courses can also be booked. All bedding provided, please bring towels.

Directions:Robin Hood's Bay is 5 miles south of Whitby and well signposted. To find The Old School House, come down the steep bank into the village and around 100 yards after the sharp bend by the Laurel pub, turn right through the gate into Fisherhead Car Park. The Old School House is at the top of the car park after the left hairpin bend.

A different sort of Stag Do…

If you’re after what’s on offer in Vegas, Prague or Dublin then this definitely isn’t the place for your Stag or Hen Party. But if you’re looking for something simpler & quieter, this could be it.
The Old School House is an affordable venue for groups of between 20 and 30 to book for sole use. Cater for yourselves or have us do it for you, there are also pubs and cafes less than two minutes walk away. Get your fresh air down on the beach or up on the cliffs, or spend the day or evening in Whitby just five miles away. There aren’t many better places to spend time with your mates ahead of your big day.
