Ledgowan Lodge is a traditional country house hotel with cosy log fires, original features and friendly bar open to residents and non-residents. The bunkhouse is adjacent to the hotel and bunkhouse guests have full use of the hotel’s facilities.
Ledgowan Lodge is perfectly situated for the hill walker, climber or anyone wanting low cost basic overnight accommodation. It is within easy driving distance of the Torridon and Fannich Mountain ranges and Fionn Bheinn Mountain is on the doorstep. The bunkhouse sleeps ten adults in five separate rooms, each with a set of bunk beds, hand basin, chest of drawers and thermostatically controlled heating. There is a bathroom with shower and a toilet. There are cooking facilities and a refrigerator for self-catering, but it is recommended that guests socialise within the hotel where the welcome provides a restaurant, bar meals, real fires and lively conversation. There is ample car parking in the grounds and an excellent drying room within the hotel. Ledgowan Lodge is able to provide opportunities for stalking for Stags and Hinds on local Estates. Duck and pheasant shooting is also available and fishing on Loch Gowan and Loch A Chroisg for trout, Perch and Pike. Also quad bike tours, offer fantastic opportunity to see and photograph wildlife and the amazing highland scenery. These opportunities are available to guests at the hotel and the bunkhouse.

The Kyle Line is a scenic railway that passes from the East Coast to the West Coast of Scotland through mountains and wild lands. As you travel from Inverness to the Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye, the views from the window are well worth the trip. Here you can see a stream train on the Kyle Line, taken by the proprietors at Ledgowan Lodge, as is passes close to Achnasheen Station. Surrounded a landscape of rock and heather frequented by Deer and with lots of Munroes, Ledgowan Lodge, 1 miles wets of Achnasheen Station, is a great base for exploring this area. The lodge is comfy and warm with oak panels and real fires and their bunkhouse provides good value accommodation for those on a budget.
