OverviewBased on a working farm amidst rolling Shropshire countryside, Hill Farm Camping Barn offers simple rustic accommodation on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Clive. The red brick former farm building sleeps up to 10 in camp beds in two ground floor rooms. There's a separate basic kitchen, with electric kettle, running water, crockery, cutlery, table and chairs. Heating is by a wood-burning stove. Outside you'll find the WC, a picnic area with tables & BBQ and stunning views of the nearby Hawkstone Park, Shropshire Hills and Welsh mountain peaks beyond.
The Camping Barn offers the perfect base for walkers and mountain bikers with Corbet Wood and Grinshill, known for their scenic walks and cycle routes, just a stone's throw away. The Shropshire Way passes the doorstep while the historic town of Shrewsbury and the Severn Way are just 8 miles away. There is a local shop and pub in Hadnall just two miles away. Breakfast can be provided with prior warning.
Up to 2 dogs are welcome and there's optional doggie daycare if required. BYO bedding

Booking:Bookings must be made in advance. A 50% deposit secures the booking.
Directions:Hill Farm is 10 minutes north of Shrewsbury, just off the A49 at Preston Brockhurst, take High Street up towards Clive Village and just at the top of the hill turn left into Hill Farm Drive.
Public Transport:Nearest train station is at Yorton (1 miles). A regular bus service to Shrewsbury operates from Clive.

Hill Farm Camping Barn is making history as the first Independent Hostel to offer a kennelling service to guests’ dogs. So if you want to visit nearby Shrewsbury or a local attraction that doesn’t allow dogs all you need to do is chat to Louise and book a slot in her canine creche.
The other good news is that up to 2 dogs are allowed at any one time in the barn. Be sure to make sure Louise knows you are bringing your four legged friends with you.
