Traditional Scottish Bothy & Bunkhouse in the Cairngorms

Located in a secluded rural spot at the top of the Glenbeg Estate and a couple of miles outside Grantown-on-Spey Glenbeg Bunkhouse and Bothy are the perfect place for a relaxing stay in traditional Scottish surroundings.

The Glenbeg Bunkhouse is a bright and airy converted farmhouse sleeping 25 people across three rooms. With double-glazing and central heating you are sure to be warm and cosy all year round. Facilities include a large well equipped open-plan kitchen and a common room with plenty of seating. There is one private bathroom and communal male and communal female bathrooms. After a day of exploring Scotland's vast landscapes or visiting the activity centre nearby, you may be glad of the hanging and drying area for coats and footwear.

The Glenbeg Bothy is a converted steading offering snug and cosy accommodation across a single floor. It sleeps six people comfortably, with a guest bed also available if necessary. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area has both a wood burner and central heating.

The bunkhouse and bothy are popular with all types of groups from school residentials, gatherings of friends and family, to stag and hen groups. They occupy an excellent location at one end of the Snow Roads and are a convenient stop before hitting the North Coast 500, North East 250 or Malt Whisky Trail. For walkers and paddlers, the Speyside Way passes Grantown and is an ideal stopover for Spey descents.
Glenbeg Bunkhouse & Bothy are part of the award-winning Cairngorms Activities Centre, situated just outside Grantown-on-Spey in the Cairngorms National Park. The well-equipped bunkhouse sleeps 25 in 3 bedrooms, while the cosy bothy sleeps 6 in one bunkroom.

Outdoor activities are available. Aviemore, Speyside Way, Dava Way & the River Spey are all close by.
