Bunkhouse accommodation in the Brecon BeaconsClyngwyn Farm Bunkhouse and Cafe is nestled in the Brecon Beacons, in the heart of waterfall country. The terrain is ideal for mountain biking, gorge walking, canyoning, caving, abseiling, climbing, quad biking, photography and painting. Clyngwyn is perfect for groups of friends or family. You can book for up to 19 people with camping available to larger groups & three double B&B rooms in the farm house. There is a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, central heating, lounge with TV-DVD, dining room for 20, acres of land for ball games and a large decked out polytunnel with power and a wooden floor. Relax in the evenings and enjoy the mountain views by a fire or the undercover BBQ area. Catering can be provided. Our Cafe is open at the weekends and has a 5* hygiene rating from Powys Council. The villages of Ystradfellte and Pontneddfechan (2½ miles by mini bus taxi) have pubs with restaurants. Four star graded by Visit Wales. Dog friendly.

Directions:From A465 leave at Glenneath, drive through and take signs for Pontneddfechan. Then 2.5 miles up Ystradfellte Road, turn right down small lane down the side of the car park. At the end you will see the Bunkhouse on the left.

Tucked away in the Brecon Beacons, off the road and well away from neighbours, Clyngwyn makes an ideal base for your DofE expeditions. There are footpaths and waterfalls on the doorstep and a choice of camping or bunkhouse accommodation for the pupils. The leaders can even treat themselves to B&B in the Farmhouse. It’s dog friendly too.

With a choice of accommodation, private bunkhouse or camping with toilet and shower facilities, plus the option of breakfast and evening meal, you can make the most of your time in this amazing area.
Walk to the Waterfalls or just sit and enjoy the fire pit and watch the sun go down. Lots of bike parking on site and you might even pick up the wifi if you’re lucky! Booking advised.
